Am I just showing my age, or am I the ONLY one who remembers this classic duo from the early days of film, when movies were actually FUNNY??
Looking back on my wasted youth, one of my favorite summers was working at the Victoria Theatre in downtown Dayton while attending Wright State University… At the theatre I did grunt work like changing the marquee lettering, which was fun, and being a security guard at a wild rock concert, which was NOT fun at all.
But we showed a lot of classic films that year, including HELP! with The Beatles and my first real exposure to these guys and Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd… Brilliant! It was a lovely year…
