These days I am privileged to draw live caricatures at quite a few weddings. What a day that is, for all concerned, but especially the bride and groom of course.
Fairly often I am asked to draw a large sketch of the two of them ahead of the big event, drawing from photos.
Then usually that big drawing (maybe 16×20 inches or larger) is placed in a pastel-colored mat and the family and friends write good wishes on the mat.
